CENTENARY YEAR 2010
The call is
out!
Any club memorabilia, photographs or documentation pertaining to the last 96 years (particularly the earlier ones) would be most gratefully received by the Club to help compile a history of the Club.
Malton and Norton Golf Club is set to celebrate its 100th birthday in 2010. A centenary committee has been set up to raise funds to aid the celebrations and to identify possible projects.
There were three events planned for 2006 – two social and one golf, which have given a great kick start to the fund raising activities. The Centenary Mens Open Day proved very popular with a full field from clubs all over the North of England and will be repeated annually up to and including 2010. The next event is to be held at the Milton Rooms in Malton and 250 tickets are now on sale (see events)
