Simon joined Malton and Norton Golf Club in 1988 at the age of 11 and has been a member and valued part of the club ever since. He career started as a Professional in 1999/2000. Later he returned officially to his home club on 8th April 2006 to take part in an exhibition match to promote the opening of the new driving range along with Gary Wolstenholme, Rebecca Hudson and Emma.
